as a result - when omni receives these tokens - omni sells these tokens for sol just as the ethereum blockchain and other l2's will do so automatically. so any sol based projects created via omni will require omni to sell tokens to earn its 25 bps fee.

learning about locked liquidity

a liquidity pool is a collection of funds locked in a smart contract. token creators seed initial liquidity with eth, sol, usdc etc in order for users to use the liquidity pool to facilitate exchange between assets.

when the creator seeds the initial liquidity - it is moved to a wallet that is "burnt" meaning there is no further access to these funds permanently. And that wallet will continue to operate as an LP earning fees for all trades in that liquidity pool. Those fees continue to accumulate over time helping to reduce risks or impact of rugs.

Note: locked liquidity is not a perfect or complete solution to preventing bad actors.
